What is freedom? What’s it like to be free?  Are you free? Am i free? What dreams abide within us?  

If you know me, you may know that i’m always asking questions, always thinking, always experimenting, always attempting to make people smile and trying to help them see life a little brighter.  

I’m passionate about people.  I’m intrigued by the human mind. I’m in love with the diversity amongst us.  

My goal in life is to leave a positive impact in every person’s life i come across, to learn something from them while at the same time hopefully teaching them something new. At times my passion for people is just as great as my fear of opening up to people so i take time once in a while to get out of my introvert mode and reach out, face my fears and put my shyness aside.  

I decided to conduct the “Go Be Free Project” in the means of learning something new.  My goal was to reach out to different types of people and ask what freedom meant to them, find out what their passions or dreams are, and find out if any of them believed themselves to be free.  I decided to make cardboard triangles symbolizing pyramids.  With the help of my dear friend, KBofftharecord and a 5 year old small child, we colored the pyramids with crayons and wrote “Express Yourself, Be FREE” on one side and on the other “Build your Own Pyramid”.  

It was very cool to hear the different interpretations of freedom.  It was very interesting to hear of the dreams, passions, and goals that fuel each person.  I also met some people who were kind of grouchy or annoyed by me, which also made the experience awesome.  

Although this was just a small experiment and project i hope to be able to conduct more experiments of this kind in the near future.  As of now i’m only using what’s within reach such as phone cameras.  I believe that any small effort goes a long way.  Hoping that someone’s mind opened a little more or smile shone a little brighter would make this effort worth it!!
